How is Stack10 different from a traditional consulting firm?

Traditional firms charge by the hour and are incentivised to keep engagements running. We charge by story points delivered — so our incentives are aligned with your outcomes, not your invoice. Who actually does the work?

What does "story points" pricing actually mean?

Story points are a unit of work — a way to measure and price software delivery by output rather than time. Before the engagement starts, we agree on a scope and a point budget. You see exactly what you're paying for and what you'll receive. If we deliver faster than expected, you don't pay for unused time.

Do we own the code and IP at the end?
